Culture:
  • History: With a rich pre-Columbian history and the legacy of the Spanish conquest, Mexico is a country with a vibrant culture. Its independence is celebrated on September 16th. 

  •  Economy: It is the second-largest economy in Latin America, with key industries in oil, manufacturing, tourism, and technology. 

  •  Music: Mariachi, ranchera, and norteña music are traditional genres. Artists like Vicente Fernández, and contemporary ones like Luis Miguel and Natalia Lafourcade, have been influential. 

  • Food: Mexican cuisine is a UNESCO cultural heritage. Among the most well-known dishes are tacos, tamales, mole, and pozole.

  • Traditions: The Day of the Dead is one of the most important festivities in Mexican culture. Posadas and Holy Week are also celebrated with great fervor.
